| May 1, 2009 It's taken quite a while for us to get things going again and we've already missed several races in 2009. We do expect to be back on the track this season planning to run a few races at Beech Bend, Kentucky Motorspeedway, and possibly try to make some of the Ken-Tenn Pro Late Model Series races. We will still be a few more weeks getting our engine back together and the car ready to go. We still need sponsors for 2009 and on and we're also in need of crew members to assist both at the track and at the shop. We plan to resume our youth pit crew program this year as well and there will be a new page on the site soon to explain more about this great program. June 1, 2008 Rapture Racing will be taking off the remainder of the 2008 season due to the engine failure we suffered on May 20th. We appreciate the support of our sponsors and will continue to make our sponsor events and plan to return to Beech Bend Raceway Park for the 2009 season. May 21, 2008 Team Rapture finally made it out for a practice session yesterday. Unfortunately we broke the motor and must pull it out and tear it down. This will be an expensive and time consuming repair that will most likely keep the us out for several weeks. We'll post here again as soon as we are able to determine when we will be able to get back to the track. In the meaintime, the car will still be on display at all of our scheduled special events. March 5, 2008 Rapture Racing will again partner with Green River Chapel Youth Ministries to continue our youth pit crew program. We have great expectations for this unique program designed to train and integrate youth volunteers into the Team Rapture crew. Thank you to the Green River Chapel Youth. We look forward to working with you this summer.
January 30, 2008 Team Rapture will again partner with Christian Family Radio for 2008. We're proud to promote CFR and their mission. The 90.7 Rapture Racing Late Model Stock Car will be on display at the Christian Family Radio "Open House" on April 5th. Thank you CFR for carrying the word on the waves. January 10, 2008 Brother's Bar-B-Que of Madisonville announces they will be returning as a primary sponsor for the 2008 season.
